UNDER THE DOORWAY
UNDER THE DOORWAY

Aggie believes everyone is a writer with a meaningful story. She helps her students find their authentic voices while digging into the experiences that make up their lives. Her writing curriculum has been used again and again by companies, schools, and individuals to build confidence, strengthen bonds, and stir creativity in participants. All that is needed is a pen and paper.
After establishing important ground rules, Aggie leads each session of narrative guidance through poetry and specific prompts. After a timed writing, each participant then reads their writing out loud, which naturally creates a community of authenticity, connection, and support. Students find that after Aggie's class they are empowered in their day-to-day professional and personal worlds.
Aggie welcomes all to her program, Under the Doorway.

"Working with Aggie as my editor on my last two books was an extraordinary experience. Her linguistic depth coupled with her intuitive narrative allows her to strategize and edit in a way that enhances meaning in the text, without flattering or distorting the ideas. I highly recommend her as a critical component and partner in any writer's entourage." -Farnaz R.
"Aggie's course renewed a passion and appreciation for the written word that I haven't felt since high school. Her thoughtfulness in choosing guided mentor texts and creating a safe space for everyone allowed my writing to flow out freely and without judgment.
